I'm a little disappointed by this so far. It's not heavy enough and the vocalist is kinda generic. Like the use of flutes and they have a good grasp of atmosphere, though. They probably just need to grow on me a little bit.
They don't suck, but so far I'd say they're more on the progressive rock side than the progressive metal. Just listen to this band and then listen to Pagan's Mind, Royal Hunt, Dream Theater, etc. You'll see what I mean.-Daniel2026@aol.com

Well, I like some prog rock, especially Kansas and Asia. It's just that I expected Shadow Gallery to sound a little more dynamic than they do. Instead, the majority of it's all mellowed out, which isn't bad per se. Eh.

This album is very good, it's definetly worth the money.
dream theater is fucking overrated. They have about 5 good songs in their whole discography. Seriously.
Communic destroys all progressive metal bands that stand before them.
