Hello Andy! I'm glad to see you liked Gojira (Y). If you are looking more french metal bands I recommend you an avantgarde extreme metal one called Carnival In Coal, they play some kind of Mr Bungle stuff but more extreme...and I like Misanthrope very much (a kind of bizarre/prog death metal) but they have good stuff and other not so good, quite boring...I recommend you Visionnaire for starting.
bye!

Yes, I've already recommended Carnival in Coal myself. Good choice, titusfox. I also highly recommend Elend and Patrick Rondat. Elend is dark ambient/atmospheric/neoclassical/symphonic music and their album The Umbersun is on the Metal Music blog that you have in your links list. I wrote a review for it on metal-archives.com. Check it out. You would love it.

Patrick Rondat is a shredder from France. You can find his album Amphibia on metal-archives.com in the 'Black Metal(And other Metal) Free Downloads' section, though I'm not sure which page it'
s on. I think it's either on 19 or 20. -Daniel2026@aol.com

I already knew the names you guys told me except Patrick Rondat. I'll check it out. Thanks :)

I don't like Elend. The only album of them that I bought is Winds Devouring Men and that was terrible. How about the other albums?

Oh, and Lyzanxia and Psychopathology Orchestra(full album of theirs for download in the links section on their page at metal-archives.com) are good and the guys from Carnival in Coal recommended Grotesque Through Incoherence, Scarve, Maladaptive, Benighted, etc. -Daniel2026@aol.com

Hey dude im amazed to see how much foreign people like Gojira! Its so awsome!
Well, if youre looking for more metal from france, there's Sikh (A slipknotish french band that kix ass (www.sikhmusic.net)) and Sidilarsen (more or less Rammstein-like at times and sometimes more jumpy riffs than rammstein)
Mass Hysteria is French metal you cannot miss: they are the most famous band in that style (although their last album is more rock). also check out Watcha, Pleymo, Keishah, Skaut, Explicit Clowns, Klone, Near Form Offense, Stereotypical Working Class and all their friends on myspace and other communities.
THOSE BANDS NEED SUPPORT TO GROW PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT AND PROMOTE THEM AND YOU MIGHT GET THEIR CDs DISTRIBUTED IN THE US ONE DAY (cuz being famous in france is one thing but you need an international fame to become "big" )
