Stunningly good album, really fun to read with. But, please tell me, is it supposed to be the case that track 4 "Closure" suddenly cuts off after 5:15? My version does... But I might have downloaded it somewhere else (@192 kbps). I'd be most grateful if you answered! And do you know other bands that have music similar to this (slower pace, much acoustics, but still brooding & dark)?

For the other band in the same style, it's not really the same but you could try Agalloch, Katatonia, Novembre, and other dark metal band...

Try the last Katatonia's album, The Great Cold Distance, it's the best of all Katatonia's album and it sound a litle like Opeth, very very amazing, and good!
