At The Gates was one of the first band playing melo death metal, and they are (with some band like Ceremonial Oath) at the origin of what is called "Gothenburg" MDM...

    Amazing album, one of my favorite melodeath albums. I still can't believe this was made in 1995, beats The Jester Race as a pioneer melodeath album IMO.
